Jochen Hahn secures pole for race 3 in Most

29 August 2021

Jochen Hahn posted the fastest lap on his penultimate attempt in Super Pole, and while Norbert Kiss got close with only a 0.017 sec gap, it wasn’t close enough, as Hahn secured his first pole of the season.

Sascha Lenz wasn’t far off the top spot and will line up on row two alongside Czech racer Adam Lacko.

Antonio Janiec climbed up a spot in the Super Pole session and will start from fifth on the grid next to fellow Frenchman Téo Calvet, who qualified in sixth.

Antonio Albacete bettered his time in the top 10 shootout starting from seventh alongside British racer Shane Brereton, who improved his performance from Saturday and will start from eight position

German drivers René Reinert and Steffi Halm round out the top ten.

Race 2 winner Andre Kursim will start from eleventh this afternoon. He wasn’t entirely happy not making it into the Super Pole shootout and said the set up wasn’t quite right to finish higher up the ranks in qualifying.

Jamie Anderson qualified his blue MAN in 12th ahead of German driver Lukas Hahn.

Steffen Faas, in his Talkpool24 Scania, qualified in 14th, with Buggyra racing driver Aliyyah Koloc 15th and Luke Garrett in 16th.

Heinrich Hecker had his lap time deleted following a track limit infringement and will start race 3 from the back of the grid.
