KISS TAKES HIS FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON ON HOME TURF

13 June 2021

Norbert Kiss takes the win in race 3 with a dominant drive at his home circuit. Sascha Lenz finishes second and Adam Lacko third.

Kiss lead the field into the flying start of race 3. Adam Lacko in fourth made his way past Antonio Albacete after the first corner and the top 4 pulled away from the rest of the field. Kiss opened up a gap to Lenz and Lacko behind him, and with his lead never challenged, he drove home the win infront of his home crowd.

Behind them, Jochen Hahn in fifth got under pressure from Brereton, Halm and Kursim, who were all looking to find a way past the German.

Brereton and Hahn got very close to each other with the Brit looking for a gap, but Hahn managed to keep the MAN driver behind him and crossed the finish line just ahead of Brereton, who also secured the win in the Goodyear Cup and Andre Kursim.

Further back a fierce 4-way battle developed between René Reinert, Téo Calvet, Steffen Faas and Jamie Anderson, with the latter three all fighting for Goodyear Cup positions.

Reinert and Calvet got into a great battle, with Steffen Faas putting the pressure on from behind. Téo didn’t give up and stayed on the tail of Reinert. He eventually found a gap and got past the German. Steffen Faas overtook Reinert too and secured third place in the Goodyear Cup.
