Adam Lacko claimed pole position in wet conditions in the Super Pole session for race one at the Hungaroring. The Czech Racing driver already set the fastest time in Qualifying 1 and secured his first pole of 2020.
Lion Truck Racing driver Anthony Janiec will start alongside Lacko on the front row, after putting in a great performance that saw him qualify in second place.
Sharing the second row of the grid will be reign FIA ETRC Champion Jochen Hahn and Antonio Albacete. The Spaniard showed great speed in the first qualifying session where he posted the second fastest lap, and it would seem that the set up changes carried out by the team since the season opener in Most have worked out.
Local Hero Norbert Kiss went out rather late in the Super Pole session, when it started to rain harder, and only qualified in fifth.
German Tankpool24 racing driver Steffen Faas posted the 6th fastest time and also claimed pole for the Goodyear Cup.
Buggyra Zero Mileage racer Téo Calvet will be starting from 7th alongside Team Schwabentruck’s Steffi Halm.
The top 10 were rounded out by Spanish driver Luis Recuenco and German racer Clemens Hecker.
The racing action this afternoon will start with Race 1 will start at 12:45 and Race 2 at 14:50.
