ETRC racers take on virtual track at Le Mans

After a shake up in the winning order at the last race in Zolder, Norbert Kiss will be looking to get back on top this weekend at Le Mans.

The Hungarian driver had a mixed result in the virtual races in Zolder, after he had to fight his way through the back of the field twice, but managed to score a podium in the first race.  

Sascha Lenz finally scored his first win in the ETRC Digital Racing Challenge as he stormed to victory in Race 1 in Zolder. “I’m so happy I won the race,” said the German. “I’ve waited for the win since the beginning of the virtual season and and it’s great to finally have made it.”

Young french racer Téo Calvet has shown some brilliant racing grit over the course of the virtual season and has been in some great one-to-one battles. He scored another podium in the last race, bringing his total to 5 podiums and 1 win. 

After some bad luck in the first few races, Jamie Anderson finally bagged his first win after driving a great race in Zolder. The British driver will be eager to get on the top step again at the legendary track last Le Mans.

Björn Tyhuis confirmed his consistent form with the third fastest time in qualifying and some good speed will be one to watch as he will be looking to secure his first podium in the last few races.

The racing action at the virtual Le Mans track will start this Sunday 1 August, with qualifying at 17:30, followed by Race 1 at 18:00 and Race 2 at 19:00 (all times CET).
