Jochen Hahn strengthened his position in the standings with a second win of the weekend at a damp Hungaroring in Race 3...
For the second time in as many days, reigning champion Jochen Hahn took a commanding victory at Hungaroring.
Leading lights to flag, in a race that started under a yellow flag due to a damp track surface, Hahn took his Team Hahn Racing IVECO to another comfortable win.
This time he was followed home by Steffi Halm's Team Schwabentruck IVECO, making it a fine 1-2 for the Italian manufacturer.
Local ace Norbert Kiss rounded out the podium, inheriting the lead after Sascha Lenz’s retirement which was caused by a steering problem in the closing stages of the race.
for the local crowd it was the result they had been waiting for as Kiss was applauded from the podium.
Hahn dominated the race from the get-go, opening a healthy gap over Halm and remaining in control ever throughout. For the majority of the running, the Team Schwabentruck racer had her mirrors full of the yellow SL Trucksport 30 MAN driven by Lenz.
Yesterday’s Race 3 winner, Lenz, looked set for another podium finish, until he pulled off heartbroken at Turn 11 with little over one lap remaining.
As a result, Kiss moved his Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz up a place, securing his best finish of the weekend. The Hungarian finished ahead of Truck Sport Lutz Bernau’s Albacete who pushed Kiss hard over the course of the race.
Fifth place went to René Reinert who fought doggedly for the position with Don’t Touch Racing’s André Kursim. Midway through the race the Reinert Racing driver finally found the way to get passed his compatriot.
While the two were scrapping for position Adam Lacko, who started ninth following technical a issues in qualifying, joined the fray and eventually managed to pass Kursim as well. The driver of the yellow and white IVECO went one to finish eighth and take provisional pole for the semi-reversed Race 4, one place ahead of GRAMMER TRUCK CUP winner Jamie Anderson.
Anderson sealed his second category win of the season in the GRAMMER TRUCK CUP after a polished and unhindered performance in his Anderson Racing run MAN. 
Starting from 15th on the grid, José Rodrigues was making up ground as the race went on, and he eventually finish ninth aboard his Reboconort Truck Racing Team entry. The Portuguese driver gained two places at the start and then dived to the inside of Fabio Citignola.
The top 10 was rounded out by T-Sport Racing racer Terry Gibbon who continued his fine form in Hungary.
Citignola, in the second of Team Tankpool24 Racing’s Mercedes-Benz trucks, crossed the line 11th overall and third in the GRAMMER TRUCK CUP, with Buggyra Racing’s Oly Janes finishing behind him.
Initially, it was Luis Recenco who led the way in the category, having qualified a very strong eighth overall. The Spaniard, however, had to serve a drive-through penalty for track limits infringements.
The remaining places went to the second of the Reboconort Truck Racing Team drivers Eduardo Rodrigues (who also served a drive-through for track limit violations) and Dominique Orsini in his Team Orsini Racing Mercedes-Benz.
