Steffi Halm was sixth-quickest in her Reinert Racing MAN and will start one place ahead of compatriot Sascha Lenz in a similar machine prepared by SL Trucksport.
The soon to be retired Gerd Körber qualified eighth in his last ever Super Pole session. The Team Schwabentruck Iveco driver announced has announced his retirement at the end of the season.
José Rodrigues was ninth overall and fastest in the Promoter’s Cup runners aboard his Reboconorte MAN, with his rival André Kursim (Team Tankpool24 Racing/Mercedes-Benz) one place behind.
Rodrigues has a 18-point advantage as he heads into the final two rounds this afternoon.
Timed Practice
David Vršecký repeated his effort P1 effort from yesterday by being the fastest in the earlier Timed Practice session once again.
Norbert Kiss went second-fastest in his Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz but was nearly 0.4s off Vršecký’s best time.
Antonio Albacete was third-fastest, with the remaining top ten spots going to Sascha Lenz, Steffi Halm, Adam Lacko, Gerd Körber and André Kursim respectively.
Frankie Vojtisek, in his Czech Truck Racing Team MAN, was the first one to be knocked out in 11th position overall.
Holland’s Erwin Kleinnagelvoort put his Scania 12th on the grid after overcoming gearbox issues which compromised his Saturday running. This was one place ahead of Eduardo Rodrigues in one of the three Rebconorte MAN’s on the grid this weekend.
