Most Truck Festival adds to exciting FIA ETRC race weekend

The hugely popular Autodrom Most returns for 2017 and is set to be bigger and better than ever before

The hugely popular rounds of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2017.

The advent of the Most Truck Festival from the 2-3 September will run alongside the highly anticipated sixth meeting at Most for the Round 6 of the FIA ETRC - the Czech Truck Prix. The new initiative will see the whole of ‘truck culture’ celebrated with a range of activities that will engage hauliers, truck industry and regular fans.

A special trucker zone has been devised for truck companies and hauliers to camp for the weekend and host their own activities. The deal will include a place in a parade lap around the circuit during the weekend.

Show and exhibition spaces will be common place during the weekend with several show zones where the world of trucking will be on display. American trucks and show trucks will be there to thrill the crowds with their famous preparation and decorative characters.

An evening concert will also be presented to the crowd, and with plenty of family entertainment in the paddocks it will be a festival atmosphere all weekend.

As well as the entertainment and sporting aspects there will also be chance to do business with a sizeable industry area. This is where stands and showrooms for companies and manufacturers of trucks and truck development will be showcased for the public and business visitors.

The FIA ETRC supports the connection between the road and the track and will be giving insights in to the correlation between the two throughout the 2017 season. Recruitment of truck drivers is an area that needs maximum support and effort in current transportation and the FIA ETRC is determined to promote this for future generations of truckers.

All of this is set to be a fantastic backdrop to four more exceptional FIA ETRC races on the challenging Autodrom Most circuit over the weekend of 2-3 September.
