NORBERT KISS ON POLE FOR FIRST RACE OF THE SEASON

Norbert Kiss kicked off the 2021 season with an impressive performance on track. He set the fastest times in all practice sessions and qualifying and claimed pole for race 1 on his home circuit at the Hungaroring. Kiss grabbed the top spot by a margin of 1.033 seconds ahead of Sascha Lenz, who will line up alongside him for the first race.

Starting from third on the grid this afternoon is Jochen Hahn, who will share the second row with Czech driver Adam Lacko in his Buggyra Racing Freightliner 

Steffi Halm qualified her Team Schwabentruck IVECO S-Way in fifth position ahead of FIA ETRC Champion Antonio Albacete. 

René Reinert showed good pace in all free practice sessions and will start race one from seventh, alongside fellow German racer Steffen Faas, who will also start in pole position for the Goodyear Cup.

The final two places in Super Pole were rounded out by Don’t Touch Racing driver Andre Kursim and Téo Calvet who starts in tenth.
