The Grand Final

26 March 2021

After four race weekends and 8 races where truck racers and sim racers have gone wheel-to-wheel on two different grids, the ten best racers of each category will come together in the final showdown to battle for the digital title in the Grand Final.

Fans have voted the track for the final showdown and the 20 drivers will race on the virtual circuit in Kyalami.

Two-time virtual truck racing champion Norbi Kiss has demonstrated a strong form winning 6 out of 8 races. Kiss’ closest rival Manuel Alvarez scored one win and three podium finishes and Lukas Hahn was on the podium five times in eight races.

On the sim racer grid an average of over 50 of the fastest sim racers have battled in the virtual 5-ton 1,500-horsepower racing giants over the last two months. Spaniard Enrique Marcos dominated the virtual championship taking home 4 race wins and two third places in 6 races.

On Sunday the top 10 real life racers will meet the top 10 sim racers and fight for victory in the last race of the #onetruckfamily eSports Challenge.

The format of the Grand Final will be slightly different, with only one race which will last 35 minutes plus overtime.
