VIRTUAL SEASON FINALE AT JARAMA

12 August 2020

The digital truck racing season comes to an end this weekend, when the drivers will line up for the season finale at the virtual grid at Jarama.

Norbert Kiss secured the virtual truck racing crown in the penultimate round of the ETRC Digital Racing Challenge at Le Mans two weeks ago, where he scored a double win, however the race for second place is still open.

Sascha Lenz, who scored 1 win and 12 podiums so far, holds a 36-point lead over French racer Téo Calvet and can secure the runner-up position already in the first race.

Buggyra racing driver Téo Calvet crossed the finish line first in the second race at Le Mans, however a time penalty for an unsafe rejoin cost him the win. He’s had a strong run so far and will definitely want to claim the top step in the last two races.

Antonio Albacete claimed his first podium in the last race at Le Mans and he will be looking to finish the virtual season on a high in his home race at the virtual track in Jarama.

Tune in on Sunday 16 August 2020 from 17:30 CET.
