Buggyra Racing wet weather ace Adam Lacko takes pole for race three...
Adam Lacko claimed a dominant pole position in wet conditions in the Super Pole session for race three at Le Mans Bugatti this afternoon.
The Buggyra Racing driver claimed his first pole since Most in August 2018 and recorded a best lap of 2m23.846.
Lacko, a noted wet weather expert, enjoyed a huge 1.5s advantage over second placed Andre Kursim. The Don’t Touch Racing driver continued his excellent recent form that brought him a win race two yesterday.
The second row of the grid for the 11-lap race later this afternoon was be shared by Antonio Albacete’s Truck Sport Lutz Bernau entry and Norbert Kiss’ Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz.
Row three will be comprised Sascha Lenz and 2019 FIA ETRC champion Jochen Hahn.
Oly Janes made it a fine morning for the Buggyra Racing squad as he took seventh overall and the top GRAMMER TRUCK CUP position, while Steffi Halm will start in eighth position.
The final two positions in Super Pole were taken by Luis Recuenco and Fabio Citignola who also placed second and third respectively in the GRAMMER category.
Lacko Tops Timed Practice Too
Lacko also claimed the top spot in the Timed Practice session which narrowed down the ten to go through to the Super Pole.
The Buggyra Racing driver set a best of 2m22.729s in the final moments of the 10-minute session to lead Hahn by 0.5s.
Norbert Kiss was a further 0.5 back in third ahead of Sascha Lenz, Antonio Albacete and an impressive Oly Janes who was also the first GRAMMER TRUCK CUP runner.
Andre Kursim and Luis Recuenco filled out the seventh and eighth position, while Fabio Citignola placed an excellent ninth in his Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz truck.
Steffi Halm took the last position in her Team Schwabentruck IVECO as she just beat former teammate Rene Reinert by 0.1s to make it through to the Super Pole.
