Race 3
1st Norbert Kiss – Team Tankpool24 Racing | Mercedes-Benz
"The rain was very good for us today. Just as with the qualifying, it started to rain just before the race, so thank you to all the Italian people who wished for rain because I kind of needed it. Also, the start was under yellow, which was also good for me and made my job just a little bit easier.
"Had it been dry, these guys would have given me a much harder time. After I had a good pace but I saw Adam [Lacko] in the mirrors all the time and I saw he wasn’t really closing, so it was a good race."
2nd Adam Lacko – Buggyra Racing | Freightliner
"I’m very happy with P2 because it’s always very hard in the rain and very easy to make a mistake.
"I tried to follow Norbi, to catch him but today it wasn’t possible – he’s very fast and he had a very nice race today. I’m very happy with my second place."
3rd Jochen Hahn – Team Hahn Racing | IVECO
"When Adam is happy with second behind Norbi, I’m happy with third! It wasn’t possible to go faster than Norbi and Adam so I settled for third. It’s OK in the wet, I accept it and I hope it dries out before Race 4. I’m happy to be on the podium for IVECO in Italy."
Race 4
1st Jochen Hahn – Team Hahn Racing | IVECO
"In the end, I'm absolutely happy with the weekend. If you ask me how is it possible to go from sixth to first? First, you need a little luck. Most of the competitors went off, had a mistake or contact with each other. I was very lucky, after one lap I was first then I just had to go fast because I didn't know if it's going to rain again. Forza IVECO!"
2nd Sascha Lenz - SL Trucksport 30 | MAN
"We made a few mistakes on Saturday and were very fast on Sunday and during the last race I had a little contact with Anthony [Janiec] but I think it was fair and I could overtake. I was in front and then I saw Jochen on my back and I made a mistake. Then I thought 'OK, Jochen, let's go, let's go together." Nothe the best weekend for me overall, but it's normal in racing."
3rd Anthony Janiec - Lion Truck Racing | MAN
"Yesterday it was a bad day for me but today I was very fast this morning [in the wet] and thankfully we caught up this morning with an excellent fourth time in the Super Pole session. Finally, Race 4 was very complicated but, with my competitors, we always treated each other with respect. I am very proud to be on the podium of this last race. Thank you, Italy! Thank you, team!
"I am satisfied with my weekend because we are within the six fastest trucks in Europe. This is encouraging for the next rounds of the championship."
