FIA ETRC Partners Forums Address Key Milestones and Future Campaigns

ETRA has concluded meetings with key partners this week to discuss future plans and strategies...

The European Truck Racing Association [ETRA] recently held the second meeting of its annual workshop for partners to discuss and strategize progressive campaigns ahead of the 2019 FIA European Truck Racing season.

Discussing topics which are aimed at advancing, promoting and further developing key messages associated with the FIA ETRC, last weeks’ meeting in Berlin followed on from the initial get together at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix, Nürburgring.

Representatives from the majority of the FIA ETRC’s pool of partners joined directors and senior staff members at the day-long event which specifically explored subjects relating to industry and further growing the championship’s reach and attractiveness to business and the trucking and haulage industries.

The results of the discussions and detail on specific campaigns and programs for the future will be unveiled in early 2019.

At the Nürburgring event in July, ETRA’s Georg Fuchs and its’s partner the Euro Transport Media's Oliver Trost outlined the progress made since ETRA’s formation, promotion and management of the FIA ETRC came in to effect in 2016.

This first meeting gave an overview of the key 2017 figures including media exposure, some impressive social media data and the over-arching commitment to continually improving the championship for competitors, partners and fans alike.

“The two meetings this year have been a great opportunity to communicate to our partners and stakeholders the advancement we are making for the FIA ETRC in several areas,” said ETRA director Georg Fuchs.

“The Nürburgring meeting consolidated the step change we made throughout 2017, while last week’s gathering saw some really interesting and well-thought ideas on how we can action and leverage our positioning.

“This will come in some concentrated areas that will benefit our teams, partners and in fact the whole industry of trucks and trucking in future years.

“We really want to utilize all of our positive resources in a collective manner and I think with the alignment we have throughout the championship, both the sporting and business sides have a very bright future in 2019 and beyond,” concluded Fuchs.

Further details of 2019 strategies and promotions will be unveiled in early 2019.
