Racing once again on home soil Markus Altenstrasser returns to the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) at Red Bull Ring next weekend with a second Team Schwabentruck Iveco machine.
Partnering the veteran racer and 2016 season entrant, Gerhard Körber, Altenstrasser is sure to be a crowd favourite as the 2016 FIA ETRC bursts in to life at the scenic Spielberg track over the weekend of April 30-May 1.
Altenstrasser’s entry is sure to increase the anticipation for the start of an already thrilling looking season for the championship, run by new FIA ETRC promoters– the European Truck Racing Association GmbH.
Let the carnival of racing begin
Round one of the FIA ETRC at the iconic Red Bull Ring is set to be a festival of action both on and off the track with a multitude of activities and entertainment planned for European truck enthusiasts.
The strongest men in Europe will test themselves for the third time at the Truck Race Trophy, Round 1 of the FIA ETRC in Spielberg!

In addition to the seasonal entrants, each round of the FIA ETRC can also expect a number of Race-by-Race competitors.
Each round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship has its own organisers name as well. For Round 1 at Spielberg it is the Truck Race Trophy at the Red Bull Ring.
