The European Truck Racing Association (ETRA) has announced today the continuation of its partnership with Krone Group, the leading German commercial and agricultural vehicle manufacturer.

On the eve of the 2018 FIA European Truck Racing Championship, ETRA and Krone have renewed an agreement to partner together for another action-packed season.

The deal will see Krone feature prominently throughout the FIA ETRC season and again consolidate become its brand within the paddock.

The partnership was initialised by the European Truck Management (ETM) company, which works side-by-side with ETRA in introducing, promoting and managing companies that support and work with the FIA ETRC.

Commenting on the renewed partnership, ETRA Director, Georg Fuchs, said: “We welcomed Krone to the FIA ETRC family last season and it soon became evident we share the same principals of working in a professional, stimulating and competitive environment.

“Krone is a well-known as respected brand throughout Europe and is renowned for having a multi-faceted approach to the industries it serves. This is very much the way in which ETRA is increasingly looking at the FIA ETRC. We want to expand its popularity and showcase it to both present and future markets.

“2018 will be the season when we focus on growing and harvesting increased interest in the championship through industry and beyond. We want to really capitalise on the business-to-business and commercial opportunities that exist for both competitors and partners alike.”

Commenting on the agreement today, Ingo Lübs, Krone Commercial Vehicle Group’s Head of Marketing, said: “We are delighted to be back partnering the FIA European Truck Racing Championship once again in 2018.

“Truck Racing is more than just driving around in circles. It takes determination to be on top. It is about speed and mastering techniques and tactics.

“At Krone we never slow down when it comes to best performance in transport logistics.”
