After finishing the 2017 season off in style with a double victory at his home event in Jarama, Albacete will begin another campaign when the new season kicks-off in Misano at the end of May.
Truck Sport Lutz Bernau will again compete with not only Albacete but also with a second truck for fellow Spaniard, Luis Recuenco.
The team, which is owned and managed by former champion Lutz Bernau, will again enjoy support from Petro Canada and dkv as official main partners of the squad.
Recuenco comes to the team having raced in the Seat Leon trophy and other Touring Car series in Spain for many years. He has also tasted success in the Spanish Cross Country Rally series.
The Lutz Bernau team will be looking to build on a promising 2017 season when Albacete three wins in total after a first win since his return to the cockpit at Slovakiaring before his Jarama double.The German team also placed fifth in the Teams' title scoring 354 points with Albacete and Jose Rodrigues which the team also ran in 2017.
