The FIA European Truck Racing Championship is famous for the family spirit in the paddock and so it is no surprise that a group of 15 mechanics from the various teams including Team Hahn Racing, Reinert Racing and Lion were working on Frankie's truck on the Monday evening here in Most to help ensure he had a truck to compete it.
Unfortunately, Frantisek Vojtíšek also suffered an injury in the accident. He has been under medical supervision over the week and finally the decision was made that he is not allowed to race here in Most on medical grounds.
It is a big disappointment for the fans and the whole of the FIA ETRC paddock. However, there are still two local drivers to cheer for (Lacko and Forman) and plenty of action to look forward to from the Most Autodrom.
